Company: Seastream Product/Service:
Location: FLL Required Travel: None
Job Type: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent

Description:
We are seeking a pilot who will live aboard one of the largest and most luxurious superyachts in the world. Tosca IV is a 1500 tonne, 65 meter motor vessel with a range exceeding 27,000 miles. Fax: 770-445-0702

Requirements:
The pilot should be a CFI and hold an ATP licence with significant multi engine and actual IFR experience. Turbine experience is not required although we do have a jet on order and conversion training will be provided. The ship also has onboard, a brand new Eurocopter EC130 B4 helicopter with a full glass cockpit. Rotary training will be provided to the right candidate. We currently also own an extremely well equipped Golden Eagle 421C which regularly flies to Europe and as far afield as Egypt. The right candidate should expect to fly several hundred hours per annum, fixed wing and rotary.
However, we are also seeking a person who will be a valuable crew member aboard the yacht when he or she is not flying. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a licensed airframe and power plant engineer and will train on the yacht systems as second engineer. The vessel has fully computerized, unmanned engine spaces with three, quarter megawatt generators, twin, three thousand horsepower diesels and state of the art communication and entertainment systems, including broadband internet access.

Company Benefits:
Although the person will work hard, 24hrs a day seven days a week, there are considerable upsides to the job. They will travel the world, enjoy an enviable lifestyle and be paid offshore. Added to which the person will have no living expenses, as board and lodging are provided free on board. Starting salary 50,000 USD per annum, including four weeks vacation. Please note that if you are married and want the job, get divorced, because you will not be seeing your partner again ! We are an equal opportunity employer

..gotta see how quick I can get a divorce from my wife.

good god man...they want a;

1) fixed wing pilot for a 421
2) fixed wing pilot for an anonymous "jet"
3) helo pilot for an EC130
4) A&P for all of the above
5) CFI/ATP for same
6) and a dam second engineer for the yacht

that would probably normally be 3-4 seperate people, but if you can fulfill all positions, we will pay you a whopping 50 grand and a room to live in under the storage closet...but you can have internet acess

then to top it off "Location: FLL Required Travel: None"
and follow it up with "Please note that if you are married and want the job, get divorced, because you will not be seeing your partner again!"

...what a load

I would consider it if I was single, 10 years younger and the salary was $150,000 per year. Anything less than that for all those requirements is nuts.

cheap bugger

Isn't it strange how a person with millions in their checking account is looking to hire someone for 50K a year? If they are lucky, they will get a low time, single guy who is barely out of college. This rich guy is willing to risk his life by asking this young, low time guy to fly a 421, a helo, a jet and then work around the boat.
Nothing against low time guys, we were all there once. I'm just saying that if I had a zillion bucks in the bank, I would be looking to hire the best pilots I could find and pay them WELL so they would be happy and stick around. I would take no chances on an accident or getting killed - I would want to be alive long enough to spend my money!
