My old room who is the S-2 at 1/1 here in Pendleton fowared an email to me from his regimental XO about the effect of the current MARADMIN and the stop loss and that as of now it is only west coast units that are effected. The MARADMIN specifies that Marines can still EAS at the first general officers in that Marines chain of command discretion. As of now only 1st Mar Div Marines are not allowed to EAS. As in everthing this could have changed yesterday, but this is the latest word that I have heared.

This is a related heads-up;
Navy reserve Squadron VFA-201 out of NFW Fort Worth, TX has been called up and is deployed on the USS Roosevelt headed for the fight. First time since the Korean War for the Navy.
