I have a couple of questions, and looking for SERIOUS replies. I took the Marine Corp Aviation selection Battery Test in 1999, and passed. My problem was that I could not meet the weight and pt standards during that time. I am now 29 and will be 30 in June of this year and I'm within the weight standards and could pass the pt test at this time. I have my BSdegree in physics. I was just wondering how long the tests were valid, and if I still have a chance of becoming a officer/aviator in the Marines. Your responce would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this helps, but i ran into an old friend that i was in the marine corp with (enlisted) this past weekend in Pensacola. He told me that he is the presently the oldest Lt. to ever go through flight training. he had 13 years in the corp before he was ever commisioned. he just finished primary at 34 years old. I figure if you he can do it you should be able to also. Contact an OSO and ask him. Good luck.
