I saw an ad today advertising just that; and no it wasn't Colgan. Do people really respond to such ads and are those jobs worth it? This was an Alaska job and life seems rough enough there without worrying about rent and beer.

Why do y'all do it?

You have to realize that the "many hours" part will attract far more people than the "low pay" part will deter.

Alaska jobs aren't all that rough, from what I hear. :)

Many regional pilots are going through this now. Long days and $hit pay. People will always be willing to take these jobs. One of the reasons why pay is so low.
