Hey, is there anybody out there that could tell me where I can get manuals on the Challenger 300. I have a class date on January for my TYPE RATING but I want to start reading up on the basics before I show up. I looked all over the Internet but there is not much because the Aircraft is somewhat new........Thank's

Call Bombardier..... they can ship your books ahead of time, the lady to talk to is Marguerite Mussared at Bombardier in Dallas or call your sales guy he can hook you up.

Yea they told me they would rather wait till a couple of weeks before the class date due to changes that may take place.... go figure. But I'll look into it Thanks.

Systems aren't that difficult in this aircraft anyway. If you run into a brick wall, I could get you the limitations in .pdf form emailed to you (send me a PM...)But don't sweat the training on the 300; instead plan on where you will spend your evenings as there are plenty of options.

Relax, do get a copy of limitations , and most of all, keep some forward pressure on the yoke, accelerate thru VR to add 5 or 10 knots and a V1 cut is a no brainer. Rotate right at , VR, get a V1 cut and it can be a ##^%%^^%. Just add a few knots.

It takes man to know how to fly this airplane not to just pass the check!

Thruth is that to get the CL-30 type is guite easy! Airplane is made for US pilots! There is not much to think about what comes to systems, limitations etc... There is few memory items and on engine out maneuvers aircraft might be a little slippery, exspecially if you come from hawkers, or other rudder bias etc... airplanes!

Bombardier is teaching you how to operate this aircraft, you are not there to learn how to fix it! Which by the way is not very difficult, since most of the failures you can fix by resetting/rebooting the computers.

Instructors are rather good out there in Bombardier, of course few exceptions. Flight Safety is also starting to provide CL-30 training, obviously they are more expensive!

biggest thing in my opinion in this airplane is to learn the FMS and the Collins Proline cockpit. It works very well and is guite easy to fly after you learn what different colors etc... means.

If you have ? PM me
