Simple, affix the item you're going to hang yourself with so that it's tight enough on your neck when you sit on the commode seat, that it cuts off blood flow through the arteries in the neck.

You'll lose conciousness as fast as someone putting you in a sleeper hold and before you know it, you'll be dead.

I have seen pictures where people affixed a rope and left just enough slack so that from the kneeling position they could just lean back into it and by simply placing weight on the noose they died. You don't have to break the neck like when they hang you in prison in order for this to happen.
