Muhammad Snetenced to Death

Story...
From cnn.com
Muhammad defense attorney Peter Greenspun said he was "bitterly disappointed" with the verdict.

"The law in Virginia allows death in these circumstances. We don't see any good that can come of that. The sanction of another death by the government is not likely to benefit anyone," he said.
I also heard Greenspun say that it is wrong for the government to call for a person's death.

What kind of surreal world is this? A unremorseful muderer's defense attorney saying that killing is wrong?

They should put Muhammad in the electric chair and put Greenspun in his lap...

Too bad they didn't have death by firing squad!

I had a better idea. They should just let him loose. Keep an eye on him, of course, but let him live for a while like he's on probation...and then, sometime when he's not expecting, blow his intestines out with a high-power rifle from long range.

Wouldn't that make the punishment fit the crime?

Foaming-out-the-mouth liberal's response: How dare you suggest such a heinous, barbaric means of punishment! It is against the Constitution for the punishment to fit the crime!

Typhoon, we finally agree on something... that is great idea. You could also have a couple of kids follow him around with those little laser dot pointers to keep the stress level up.

Isn't Malvo the kid?
You're right, I misspoke. (Mistyped?)

I corrected it.

I really like the idea of the kids following him around with laser pointers.

reminds of the 1966 Cornell Wilde film..."The Naked Prey"

a tribe of african natives capture wilde while on safari. they let him loose (naked) and give him a couple of hundred yard head start before hunting him...quite sporting.
