It's the home airport of Mountain Air Cargo. If you look at the street address for them on their website, it says it's in Maiden NC even though they claim to be in Denver NC.

I grew up in the area, and learned to fly at Hickory (KHKY) and never knew there was an airport in Maiden. I did know about Mountain Air Cargo's private airport just east of Highway 16, midway between Hickory and Charlotte.
