Today at about high noon, our illustrious Administrator decided that it would be a good idea to take her personal jet around for a couple of approaches, opposite direction at DCA to fly the new RNP approach that was recently commissioned. We held all departures on the ground and held approximately 10 in the air while Marion (and I’m told some press people) flew these approaches!
We can only hope that Northwest and Delta were the ones burning precious fuel so that the boss could do this publicity stunt!
