MAC FO:
This is not a place for time building (300+hrs/yr)
Runs are out and back, 4-5 night/wk.
10 just upgraded before the end of summer,
it'll probably be 3-5yrs to upgrade again.
Bases:Raleigh, MEM, IND...all floaters.
QOL is good if based, otherwise you float all over
the system, alot of reserve or stdby.
Pay, check APC.

Attritions mostly at the bottom, alot of lifers. imp:
Your post is very accurate, just need to add:
Working on being on CASS (who knows how long it will take).
If you fly Friday night - Saturday morning and you are a floater, expect to get home in the afternoon.
One run out of MEM starts on Sunday. There goes your weekend.
QOL is what you make of it. As in any airline.
It was 3-5 years to upgrade when I joined MAC last year. I upgraded in only 14 months.
There are not many qualified FO's that can be upgraded. Many are low time pilots, good guys, but low time. They will not be upgrading for awhile.
Don't know how many Caravan Captains can move (or want to move) to the ATR.
I spoke with an ASA ATR Captain last week. He said FedEx bought all 12 planes they have and they will start retiring the fleet in August. We don't know how many will go to MAC, but something is going on if they upgraded so many of us.
Do not expect a UNION here.
Just my $.02
