LUH- What's going on?

Anybody heard what is going on with the LUH program?? last that I heard MD helicopters was talking lawsuit.

Talked to a Eurocopter guy the other day who spoke in generalities but said they were really gearing up for the program. Wish I knew more---don't have a dog in the fight so I haven't paid much attention.

Interesting to follow. Eurocopter and the engine provider have historically been short on stock and availability for loaners during overhauls, one has to wonder how a massive contract will affect a clearly strained supply stream for the manufacturer.

I dont have a dog in the fight either, but interesting to follow.

On the rumor side, I heard the proposed deployment is currently in conus only, with the hawk as a oconus asset, anyone heard the same?
