For those 60 drivers out there, what are the 'must have' options?

Besides the obvious like .833 spacing, ect...

The airplane has the APU.

And I'm talking more on the avionics rather than the interior.

thanks

Guess it depends on the mission you are using it for....I think the ground spoiler spin-up kit is an important item, especially if you operate 135.

After that, the GNS FMS with datalink over the old Collins setup would be a huge plus.

Sure wish I had that APU!

I think the spinup kit is standard now, the APU is an option. I would for sure get the "all in one" EFIS standby instrument. It is much easier to use than the standard. I'm assuming you are getting a new one. Let me know if you need any more info.

Yep, the auto-spoiler service bulliten is now standard.

I'll prly just put in the .833 boxes, and maybe the Magnastar data link box at some point.

I do like the BF Goodrich all-in-one EFIS stby instrument, and might spring for that at my local shop.

Other than that, the airplane is pretty much fully equiped both in front and in back.

I like the UNS FMC's and I'll stick with those.

thanks

LR 60

1st hour 1800
2nd hour 1300
3rd hour 1200
4th hour 1200
5th hour maybe a little less if you go to 450 for a while.

One other thing is the ESP for the engines. We are not on it, but a lot of operators are. If you crunch the numbers, and have no major problems with the engines, you are money ahead not to be on it.

Replace the Magnastar and put a sat phone in if you plan to go Intl.

Cockpit WX graphics

Get the Air Show/Genesis uplink, It gives great WX Graphics on either one of the UNS's , if you keep the magnestar.

Ok, thanks for the tips...

This plane has the HF, and I don't see where SECAL is an option in the options booklet, so am I so assume it has SECAL?

I do think we'll get the Genesis uplink.

As far as ESP, I suspect the boss will get on the program. I do understand the trade-offs. He likes to be well insured.
