Lots of New Information!

Hi Everyone,

I just arrived back from ATL from the Resume Writer and Career Coach Conference. I have some great new information to share with you all, however, I am working on jetlag!

I will write up all the information I learned tomorrow. There will be information on salary negotiation, interviewing and the fact that I have decided to go through a Federal Resume Writer and KSA Certification. You may not think that salary negotiation belongs in aviation, but for those of you in corporate, it does apply. Also, with all the Federal Jobs that are out there right now, it is a whole different ball game.

By the way, the Federal Government is HOT for people with Executive Management experience right now. You may not think you have any experience in that area, but if you have any experience running a corporate flight department, there might be transitional skills - if you want to go that way. This might also apply to those that are furloughed.

Anyway, time for me to go to bed!!! Too much fun last night on that dinner cruise. Of course, the highlight of the evening was when the DJ handed me the microphone to sing along with "Play that Funky Music White Boy!!" Wow, did that bring back memories! (I think I am getting old!)

I apologize for not getting information to everyone sooner. I ended up taking my daughter to the emergency room after I got home on Saturday night and have been dealing with her illness since. I will try to post something in the next couple of days, after I put out all the fires from when I was out of the office.

Thanks Bobby. She is fine, just miserable and it makes it hard to get anything accomplished! It's so hard because she is such a sweet little thing and I think she has started her terrible two's before her first birthday!!
