ouch... Glad everyone is ok.

Former chief pilot had this happen to him in an old 90 with the "bicycle chain" gear during a PC check with another captain.

Anyone know who the operator was?.

Glad to hear everyone OK. Kudos to 11 Alive in their caption writing...

"The pilot of a single-engine plane..."

I was kind enough to send a short little email to them pointing out the 'obvious'.

Pathetic. She and that other Aviation 'Expert' moron, Miles doofus O'Brien at CNN should work together.

Not to start something....

But isn't that a TAB airplane?

Stupid bicycle chain landing gear. Wilbur and Orville were still using up whatever stock they had on hand well into the 70s...

No doubt......I'm still waiting for "TopGunMAV" to be "checken in at 350" in his King Air from TAB.

Since neither of them has yet to respond or submit, my bet is that they were both flying the thing on a "routine training mission".

Enjoy

Perhaps he was just buzzing the tower and flew it into the ground. ;)
TOPGUNMAV "PDK tower, TAB623W requesting flyby"
PDK TOWER "Negative ghost rider, the pattern is full"
TABExpressFO "Is there something I should know?"

back when i was flying the king air i had many an occassion with gear problems.

Geez, we all thought you still were flying the King Air. TAB is such a great organization, right?

Just looking at the link at the bottom of TopGunMAV's post, the truth is now out and about.

He's flame.

He's a fake.

Get a life.
