I was wondering if anyone could give me any direction on how to get on with a fractional or pvt jet. I am currently flying for a regional but live in FL and I am wanting to be in FL to start and end a trip. Does anyone know of any good fractionals and regionals that are hiring in FL? Other than SAS!!! (STAY AWAY).

Thanks in advance...

I imagine you're with RAH. Is the Reverend Bedford still sending out those religious wacko memos every week? Check out NetJets. We now have multiple bases for new hires in FL.

Yea, I am and yes Rev Brian is still sending out those crazy msgs... the christmass memo was like a church sermon....
Can you tell me what time Nejets is looking for? I don't think that I am competative...
I am just an SIC on the 175

Could you give us some insight on what is causing you to want to leave RAH? They seem to be held up as one of the "better" regionals and I'm trying to weigh the pro/cons of all of the regionals.

The contract is not very good here... we are in negotiations right now but there is no movement. The equipment we fly is great. The company need work rules and the pay is very low.... the contract is worded on behalf of the company with such things as "the company shall try" "the company shall makes its best effort"... other than that the people that work here are great... by far might be the best regional out there... who know what the future holds here... the trips suck, early start and late finish on all ends... just stuff like that!!

If you live near SFB there are some operators there out of Starport FBO on the north side of the field. You may want to go there in person and check it out. I was in your shoes this past summer when I got fed up with commuting up north out of MCO. Luckily I found a corportate job here in FL (no not SAS), with better pay and schedule. Now I simply drive to work, park my car next to the hanger and go fly with no aggrevation, what a great concept!

I'd like to suggest Avantair. Right now PBI is an available FL base.

Looks like FlexJet is hiring again and FLL is a base. 2500TT, good attitude, and an ATP should get you in the door. Good luck.
