I need a new AirTran uniform set and need opinions on the best hat to the best shoes and everything inbetween.
I'm tired of the mail order low quality stuff.

PM me if you want the leather jacket. Size 40 reg I think.

M&H Uniforms by far for the best quality. As for hats, bancroft hats are the best quality in my opinion. I owned one when I had to wear one and the quality was great.

The Bancrofts are hard to find these days. I've heard that Flight Station bought the rights to produce the caps, I'm not sure what's going on but it was very difficult to find a new one 3 months ago and phone calls to the Bancroft number were not returned. As for Flight Station pants and jackets, I would look elsewhere if you want quality.

Pilot Shirts

Landerwood shirts were the best I found. Though quality has come down in the past few years I still think they have the best shirts.

Tarpey Taylors out in L.A. They have 3 different grades of fabric for your blazer and pants to choose from. They hand make the uniform for you and stitch your name etc. in the jacket. Best quality I've ever seen in a uniform. They were the Continental vendor for decades up until the 80's when the airline moved the headquarters to IAH.

You can get your uniforms from Abotts Uniforms in Atlanta. I have been buying from them for 9 years and never had an issue with quality. One thing that I like about their pants is the rubberish thing they put inside the waist band that helps keep you shirt tucked in.

I second the Bancroft hats. Get one if you are able to find one. I have a Bancroft and a Superior. Superior is junk. I wore the Superior once and it right back to the closet.

I'm impressed with the M&H pants, the jacket is also pretty nice. As for the hat though, I've a Superior and it's not worth it-go with the Bancroft or something else.

Tarpy Tailors managed to screw up every item I got from them, pants, shirts, etc. Not impressed in the least.

Landerwood shirts are okay, but I've had several fall apart. They're expensive. Van Heusen work about as good as any, and they've held up better and stayed whiter than others I've had. They're usually less expensive.

I concur on both counts. Why the Superior hat has to look like it's Luftwaffe issue is beyond me. Sig heil.
