Of the dork in the air force flight suit standing in front of a Cessna. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I checked google images and can't seem to find it.

Here you go. A bunch of dorks in silly flight suits standing in front of a very powerful aircraft......a Cessna 172.

Unfortunately, the CAP requires pilots to wear a uniform. Dorky, I know. But required.

Can't be any worse than the POS flight academies that require CFI's to wear the "pilot shirt" complete with shoulder bars.

Besides, I believe that you are looking for the guy with the helmet and O2 mask, correct?

Yeah, hes wearing a helmet with O2 and an orange cessna behind him

It's a long shot, but try googling it. The kid had pictures of him visiting the Lincoln, in full uniform and helmet standing shoulder to shoulder with REAL Navy pilots who werent even wearing the uniform.
He also had pictures of him holding guns, and Delta Force or Navy Seal tactics of combat.
Sad Sad child.

Hahaha! That last one cracks me up. Why is his O2 mask up? Does he enjoy rebreathing his own humid exhalations?

Just checking it before his flight, it would be hell if he lost his O2 in the 172.
I'd like to see how his G-Suit works in there as well.

Gotta take issue with this one. My kid was in CAP for a while. Got a ride in a C-5, a Huey, a landing craft on the way to a guided tour of an aircraft carrier...lots of stuff.

He was involved with a highly focused and motivated group of kids who were mentored by a highly focused and motivated group of adults. I'd much rather him hang out with these "dorks" than have him hang out with the skate-punks and stoners. And to a 12 year old, a 172 actually IS cool.

I agree the (required) flight suits are dorky, but considering the benefit of this organization to my son in today's environment, I say "Long live the dorks."
