I searched and it appears to have been deleted. Afellowaviator threatened to turn it into the feds because he felt that the jumpseater taking the video was a safety risk and ran to the feds.

Just thought you might be THAT GUY................

ARE YOU @#$%@#! kidding me!! The video is gone?!

I'm glad I saved it on my other computer. Some idiots take this stupid job WAY to seriously! Give me a break....go to the feds? Shouldn't the feds be more worried about more arabs slaming planes into buildings and keeping lighters off of airplanes? Sorry, had to vernt a little....

Thanks

I believe that when the video was posted originally (assuming I caught it on the original posting), the poster stated that all the cockpit video footage was taken by the jumpseat occupant, and in such a manner to not interfere with the pilot's duties.

You are correct, whoever wanted to tell the feds is a big dork.

Agree with Mike some people just need to get their head out of their asses and enjoy a bit more!!

Don't know the name of the song, but it's a cool video. Let's just hope someone on here doesn't go crying to the fed's with it!

why do you think the feds would worry about some f/o filming from the right seat during t/o and landing....

I think if the Federali had anything on the pilot(s) involved, it would be over the electronic devices on below 10,000 ft., not that I personally care- I encourage everyone to make videos like these.

...plus a bunch more....

Paranoid

Everyone relax. The Feds could care less about some video. The film is non specific and impossible to identify. No one cares. I am going to post my BE1900 one after i get the permission of the other crew member. Dont worry Mr Fed, it was shot from our "jumpseat" since the doors are closed now after 9/11. :) :)

Afellowaviator (the guy who threatened to turn that video in to the Feds) seems to have vanished. He hasn't logged onto this website since April 15th, which is shortly after his overreaction about that video. He caught alot of schitt over the whole thing. He probably knows he will never be respected on this site again; I'm sure he reincarnated himself

No fed issues and the CAPTAIN can approve any electronic devise that does not interfear with cockpit equitment. God pilots are fukcing morons.
Call me crazy but doesn't the Brasilia require two pilots? Having one of them filming during critical phases of the flight would get FAA, CP, and some fare paying passengers in the back all bent out of shape, even if the captain approved the "device"...

Do you not read previous posts? I believe that the disclamer was that it was shot by a jumpseater. Therefore both pilots were still flying the plane.

I have enjoyed all these video's, it's a shame certain people ruin everyone else's fun. I am currently sucking wind as a flight instructor just waiting for the opportunity to fly something that requires two pilots and goes from point A to B without doing slowflight, stalls, steep turns for hours on end. We have speed limit signs, but who doesn't speed. Same difference.

Jesus you guys are retarded. Filming of the flight from the cockpit is allowed by captains authority. Who the hell cares if the Brasilia needs 2 pilots. Neither one was filming. If a crew member WAS filming duh of course the feds would bust them. I'm sure you could find about 10 regs that were busted. Not one place on here did anyone say anything about a video where a crew member was video taping.

There was no jumpseater filming that flight on the EMB 120.

These guys are retarded. Just what I want is a v1 cut on take off and capt dip sht is fucing around with a video camera. Jumpseater FINE, but the crew fooling around on take off and landings is just plain stupid, especially in a Brasilia.

Why would there be a "v1 cut" on takeoff in a Brasilia with a camera out anyway?

Better change that attiude before an interview. Maybe after you have had a loved one killed by a speeder (more than 10 mph over) you will see things differently.
If I misread your point, forget it...it's EARLY and I'm only on my first cup here:D

I could care less what these guys did, or didn't do, since my family, or myself wasn't on that flight.

Also, since the video CLEARLY shows the landings and takeoffs being filmed from the right seat, why are you then saying it was filmed from the jumpseat?

Still waiting for someone more computer savvy than I to make a video of the LGA Expressway visual to GNR's "Welcome to the Jungle".

great. now 3/4 of the members on this board are going to get banned! It'll be a sea of red names!!! :D
