I think I've decided to purchase a used Garmin 195 on e-bay. It seems to have all the features I want and still is within my small budget. I can't afford a 196, and the 195 has approaches in the database that the Garmin III lacks.

My only concern is the size. I have the measurements, but I would like to see one mounted on the yoke clip. It seems like it would be so tall it would be cumbersome and block part of the panel.

If you currently use a 195 on the yoke or if you can find a photo with one mounted I would certainly appreciate it.

Thanks

While I dont have a picture, there is an aftermarket clamp that can be purchased for the 195...It works better than the yoke mount and gives you the freedom to attach it somewhere other than the yoke. I attached my 195 on the right windsheild brace of my 170b. If you have a spot that will work other than the yoke I highly suggest you do that.
