Does anyone out there in FI land know:
  • Avg fuel burn?
  • Approx insurance (pt 91)? It varies, I know...just a round number.
  • Approx $/hr for mx?
  • Bugs & strange airplane specific stuff.
Thanks!

Never flown any of them.......you might want to post this in the corporate or 135 section where you might get more responses.

good luck.

Getting harder to support, since they are not being made and have not been made in a while. I think some operators may have actually bought Mojave airframes for parts.

I found it to be a pretty reliable aircraft, just getting a bit long in the tooth. The SAS - Stability Augmentation System (Cheyenne, I and II) can be troublesome.

Engines start temping out around 21k feet

Not as roomy as a C90, but probably a bit faster, than at least the C90 and C90a

They have a pretty good range, I routinely did 4-5 hour flights. Also took one to the Azores from St Johns, NFLD.
