if the plane has usairways colors on it you can ride in the jumpseat, just about every other carrier out there you can jumpseat on too....but their must be an open seat in the back of the plane for you to sit in. No riding in the cockpit on other carriers. Maintance..the planes seem to be flying with less MELs (broken things) then they were a year ago. At least i think so. They also seem to be more on top of the planes with broken air conditioning as well. I think the saab gets the priority when both a beech and a saab are broken do to the fact that the saab makes more money. My opinion only. If you get hired...pray you get the saab. It's all pretty much better over there...better bases, pay, airplane, better for the resume, and more. The beech sucks and so do its bases and routes. Just my opinion though. We have people quiting basically weekly....most are FOs on the beech. So i bet most other people agree with me. And we got some cowboys over here. The saab Fo's seem to hang on a lot longer. Warning....they are hiring for the beech and saab right now....due to all the openings on the beech. People hired on the beech just a few months ago are already getting out of here. Since the average FO uses this place as a fancy part 121 Airnet...i think piedmont would be the better place to pad your resume for a regional airline job flying jet equipment. Scheduling...12-13 days of a month i guess on average...and they try to put them in a row of 3 at a time. We may have openings for cowboys, but i am not sure.
