Jet, jet, jet. Of course, there are a lot of other factors, but jet time, is jet time and one more piece of equipment to add to the resume. Good luck whatever you decide.. thankfully you still have a job, right?

Thanks for the responses everyone. Nice to get some different points of view from people who know the biz. I probably will take the jet if it comes down to being displaced. I think it was the APU comment that sold me.:cool: Take care all and thanks again

Take the Avro!

Back in 1999 when there was a hiring boom. My company was hiring captains off the street and putting 'em in the left seat of a B-727. They hired two guys that had PIC time in the Bae-146, cause it was greater than 70,000 MTOGW.

If you upgrade and things get better (I've got my fingures crossed) there could be a chance this will help you in the future.
