*sigh* I wish you guys would quit quoting a guy on my ignore list... However, read the quote again:

I'm due to upgrade in the next few years with our current delivery schedule (and I'm not going to get into an argument about whether we could take the deliveries. We have the cash, we were hiring, and expanding into the Caribbean. That's a done deal and not open for argument). Snapshot on date of constructive notice, right? What was going on? Oh yeah, we were hiring and expanding.

So you're agreeing that my post where I said SWAPA should agree to protect my upgrade and pay protect me at CA pay once the fences come down, and that would be OK with you?

Mkay. Sounds great. (again, my personal thoughts on an SLI are not indicative of 1,669 other pilots, but you can try to make that argument if you want.)

How long had you been at Airtran when you made that statement?

Where those future leases or straight out purchases? How many would have been taking over the next five years? Where the confirmed, or MOU? Thanks Tyroni.

They were orders, not sure but I would imagine the bulk of them would be leased . . . . we only own about 8/52. We definitely had the cash to make the down payments, which I believe is about 10% when production is slotted, or about $3 million/copy.

I upgraded in 2004, so I'll admit that I don't pore over the SEC filings like I used to, when I was new and at the bottom, and was looking for info to make decisions about what aircraft to bid, and which one to upgrade on. Maybe someone else can chime in with more specific info.

Regards,
TW

400Ahole, you were 400Ahole at Midex, and you're 400Ahole at SWA.

I never flew at Midwest.

You can call me whatever you want, Ahole is fine.

It's a simple question for a person who is trying to cover his tracks caused by his own big mouth. He said it several times, that a staple would be ok. He said it and so have a lot of your peers.

Good post. I would keep reminding everybody how Lear70 and many other trannies were literally begging to be bought by SWA and stapled. I have no doubt that most of the trannies know that a staple would be the best thing to ever happen to their careers. They all want a staple, but selfish guys like Ty would gladly ruin it all out of their greed.

I've said all I'm going to say on the matter. There is no reason to continue to debate it with a known baiter of the flame.

It's up there, it has a proper context for those who choose to read ENTIRE statements and not just pick out the pieces they want, and I don't deny ever having said it. Other than that, there's nothing more to be said about it, and you can take that however you want, it's not anything I lose sleep over. ;)

You guys and gals have a great rest of your week, fly safe out there, and have some fun while you're at it!

You just flamed yourself then because you said it!
You made those comments in 2007 so you really weren't close to upgrade were you? You then said those comments were in relation to Sept 2010 and how close to upgrade you were. You're trying to spin something you said.

You're correct nothing more needs to be said.

Wow, you and Bobby "I don't work for SWA" Dylan really are quite a pair. . . . . The "Thelma and Louise" of Flight Info. .

You guys who are digging through the trash to find something that a couple of supposed AAI FO's wrote over four years ago in the hopes that it will matter to the MC/NC or the Arbitrators are just kidding yourselves.
