I have a question for those who may know. Since things are as they are and not everyone is going to make it to the Majors, what type of career could one make at the larger regionals? ( Comair, ASA, Etc.) If you were to be there for 20 years or so what type of salary, benefits, etc., would you top off at. Just curious, I still plan on making it but want to know what life would be like if it doesn't work out that way. Thanks for your help.

I believe that the Comair air contract pays an 18 year captain $118 per hour (in four years). Hopefully every new regional contract will build on this.
Right now I average 15 days off a month and do about 90 hours of flying with about 340 hours away from base a month. I have been with Comair for just over two years (minus 89 days) and have been based in Orlando the entire time:D
It is not a bad place to be (Comair(especially if you aren't based in CVG)), the new contract made a lot of improvements to our quality of life.
