I am a CFI who is working in IT consulting to make a living. Since mid October I have been traveling every week coast to coast and I have to say that I am pooped. One time I had to do SEA-PDX-LAX-ORD-YUL-YVR-SEA in 3 days and after a while I forgot what time it is , where I was. (OK, it 's a bit exagerated , but felt awkward).

How do you guys do it? Changing time zones, traveling long hours, etc. What's the best way to keep up with it? Tylenol? Exercise?

Thanks..

1) I still have a watch that has a display for zulu time. I felt it helped me stay connected to "time" in general. Then, if needed, I'd ask "what's the local time?" But usuallly I'd figure out the difference from zulu and I'd be set.

2) Cat naps if really tired. Like a siesta.

3) Exercise is very good. For trips like you describe, cut out the alcohol. It's one more thing for your body to struggle against. Drink bottled water.
