Anybody have any good information on these A/C?

Howbout any figures on the O-235 or O-320 powered ones.

What to look for, pitfalls, positives.

I will be doing my own prebuy but I need to do some research first.

I would like to make it IFR but not sure about weight concerns and room for the equipment.

I here they can eat runway but then again I havent seen any # to prove the fact, just what I have seen personally sitting around at the airport.

Thanks

I’ve read somewhere the ones with the O-235’s carry something like 40 gallons of fuel and have a range close to 1300 miles.

That with 52 gallons of fuel 10 hours and travel up to 1600 miles is possible, with some sort of rear seat tank one was flown over 4000 miles.

And another Long EZ with a stock engine broke an altitude of 30,000 feet.
