Did the PB4Y survive?

Yes, however is had about 8 feet of seawater from the ground up in it. If it doesn't get a fresh water rinse and corrosion control treatment, it wll have serious problems. The magnesium wheels do not react well with sea water for long. Here is a photo slideshow:

Wow, what a tragedy. It could have been worse. It looks like they were spared from wind damage that could have totaled them. Still, salt water can be just as bad if not treated quickly.

Depressing to see. I didn't see any pictures of the 4Y, though.
