I've heard from one person that their phone locks up now and then with windows...

Palm is no rock-solid OS either. I've had a 650 for 2 years now. If I don't count the crashes caused by the opera mini web browser (almost daily. why does it lock up if you touch the screen while loading a page...), I'd say my 650 crashes a few times each month. I can't comment on the 700w although I've had regular windows pocket pc's and they never crashed on me. Overall, having the 650 + adpl is well worth the money.

What version of OS are you running?

Using APDL on my TungstenT, an old Palm. Works great. I keep the Palm in my flight bag throughout the trip and then on the last leg I drop it in my pocket or overnight bag and sync when I get home.

Works for tunes with the memory card. No fancy radar though, on my salary $10/mo is a lot of dough.

that NOAA page is nice...

for quick metars and taf's I use :
http://fltplan.com/cell.htm
it includes notams and a few of the previous/earlier reports for trend info..

Have at it. This is what I use at ExpressJet.

Benn using LB pro for years. Started using APDL 3 years ago and love it!! Worked like a charm on my Tungsten E.

Bought a used Treo 650 off E-bay from performancepda_store. Just got it in. It looks BRAND NEW!!

Anybody want to buy a pristine Tungsten E? It's also a great MP3 player! PM me

APDL on Treo 700P?

APDL users, do you know if the logbook will work on Verizon 700p phone? Had some "resetting" issues in the past on a different PDA so I'm little cautious...

Treo 680

Log book pro

No lock ups been using it for 6 months, wundergound is the way to go.

Cingular 8525...Program works very well and the internet is good too. I put the slingbox mobile program on there too so I can watch my home TV from the cockpit during long ground / deice delays.
