Congratualtions Skywest and Skyway... However, I don't see any new routes for the guys at MEH. How about some expansion for Midwest, not Skyway or Skywest, especially Skywest. Looks to me like Timmey is farming out all the flying to other companys and MEH isn't growing..

and again AAI's expansion desperately needs MKE otherwise it will sell off its excess airplanes. they have also commented on RJ's in the future and their actions show as such (90 seaters for regional wages). kharma is coming.

there is MKE-LAS which is adding to an already MEH route. ole forklift added the same route too.

imitation is the sincerist form of flattery. thank you beeyatches. ;)

So is Midwest imitating everyone else when they 'Listened to the customers' and put a bunch of first-class seats in the single class 80's and put coach seats in the 717's? And how much money did they leave at the gate by not doing this years ago?

Wow, a whole month or so at MEH and you are already a professional 'Punch Server'. You really did fall for all of that crap during the first two days of brainwashing, didn't you? My buddy said during his brainwashing they said to everyone (there's a bunch of gate agents, FA's, possibly rampers in with the pilots) that Midwest was the 'Fastest Growing Airline' right now. This was about six months ago. Right.

CL, if I was you, I'd stop flinging all this crap around. When this merger goes through, you'll be wishing you were on board sooner. Your union, too. Hope you don't get stuck with a bunch of 80 guys having to move to the 717 and having to fly 4 days with you. Guess misery loves company.

Citation.... Here is one thing your gonna have to learn about AAI... #1. AAI isn't selling any 737's.. #2. AAI is about as good as gets at adjusting.. ie, look at SWA at MDW.. They will adjust even if the MEH deal doesn't go through. #3. There is a backup plan, make no mistake about it, if the MEH deal doesn't go through, there is a backup plan.. F9 rings a bell........... BTW.. Heres a rumor for ya (and its been around for a while). Boeing has said that they could lease F9's Airbuses in a heartbeat and build 737's to replace those buses in a heartbeat.... OK, and airline heartbeat, but, make no mistake about it, if AAI doesn't purchase MEH there will be other options.. If you don't believe the rumor on F9, just look at the USAtoday today.. A boeing exec quoted how easy it is to lease airplanes.... Talk about Kharma... Doesn't sound like your gonna enjoy being an AAI pilot, so, just quit MEH now and start building seniortiy somewhere else.. Or, apply at skywest, that way you can actually fly an airplane on MEH's expanding routes..

Seems like MEH can run but they can't hide. JMO.TC

nope thanks nice try. i lived under darth amr, i know all about the biz. you are correct regarding selling out with the seat realignment, AAI is dragging us down into being just another airline. no more #1's for us, jetblue has no competition.

so AIRTRAN pilots post a thread and I AM flinging "crap around". why don't you wake up and smell what you're shoveling ese.

my "buddy" at airtran said during training the check airman kicked his chair and screamed at him like a little girl. they were called into the director of trainings office who apologized and said that they need to "clean house and get new blood" on the 717 side.

again worry about your TA. i can't help it that AAI's stock is valued at $4 longterm by some people. http://www.istockresearch.com/model.html?aai

if i've bought the MEH koolaid, your drunk on forklift joe's breast milk. (this is getting silly now). i will enjoy working for airtran in MKE/MDW, i won't if i have to commute to ATL (thats really the big issue with me).

TC, just when i think i am out........;)

Guess again. Plenty of space in Indy if necessary, and Frontier is always a decent backup plan.

Current contract doesn't allow it, and the TA went down in flames without even coming to a vote. I seriously doubt that this pilot group will accept any significant scope concessions. In other words, no 90-seat RJs here.

You really need to lay off of the AirTran hatred. Your concern of commuting to tha ATL isn't grounded in reality. The MKE base wouldn't go anywhere, and would likely grow to twice its current size in very short order. If commuting to Atlanta is your only concern, then you need to relax. AirTran isn't going to purchase MEH just to cut back in MKE.

So why not use Indy and save the money in the takeover fight? If gate space is plenty in Indy with the new terminal there is probably a reason.

Hindsight being 20/20 then thank goodness it went down. The point is not that this is what the AAI pilots want, but what their management wants as it was in their proposal.

Again, what hatred? Where are you getting this?
