Anyone here know much about them. I have seen their website and talked with the owners. Anyone ever flown for them? Give me your input. I am a current B-100 Captain now.

A friend who is furloughed Airways flew for the old man as a Westwind and King Air captain for a year or so and he has stated time after time that he is a **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**ing absolute piece of work to fly with and for. The owner is also a captain and does fly frequently. After hearing story after story I wouldn't touch that place with a ten foot pole if I were you. The only good thing about LJ is the restaurant that you would be able to eat at on the field, Blue Angels.

LOL.....so 350, are you for or against working there....i couldn't infer. HAHA

I haven't heard anything as negative as what 350 says, but who knows.

Where are you located flying the B100 my company is looking for a 350 pilot in the New York area.

I guess that would be dependant upon how badly one needs a job and what he or she may be willing to sacrifice. KSU, if you do decide to take a position there then make absolutely certain that you get the salary and monthly bonus amounts put into writing. I personally know of two former LJ pilots who got burned and didn't get what was negotiated, offered, and promised. Best advice I could offer up is speak to current and former LJ pilots prior to making any move that you may or may not regret. If you have any specific questions then feel free to pm me and I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge and/or put you in contact with two former LJ pilots. Even as a stepping stone I would still probably steer clear if it were me.

If you are from the PIT area then you may want to try Pittsburgh Jet out of Butler, they seem to always be seeking Metro captains. Prospect out of Beaver is another outfit that operates Lears.

Well the blue angels are closed as well as the us airways service at the terminal. The new grub is called De Nunzios (sp?) As far as LJ... all I can really speak of is their owner is extremely nosy and loves to drop the F-bomb about every third word no matter what the topic is.

I've worked there. I would not go back. There are some nice people there but the owner is not one of them. Oh yeah...and you better like to fly wearing cowboy boots or he might get rid of you. Ask me why I know this....:)

I have a few friends that flew for Prospect out of Beaver. They have good equipment however, they work all of the employees pretty hard. My friends hated the cowboy boots but they all dealt with it. Just like any Charter outfit they flew to a wide variety of destinations. I'm sure if you hang out at the 19th hole or Sal's near BVI you will run into some of their current and ex pilots.

I shall take the bait, why?
My refusing to wear the boots and the owner's refusing to let me fly without them was what had me start looking elsewhere. Pretty rediculous looking and uncomfortable in my opinion.
