Have fun, chicks are amazing there,
get a boat, it will help

Darn, I thought LIVE was "playing" in Charlotte. Dude, you freaked me out with the Title to your thread, you need to be more specific.

Pineville-Matthews is a nice area as well. About 20 minutes from the airport, depending on the time of day around I-485.

Don't do it Dude...........It's the Bible Belt out of this world!!!

Try concord or stateville. Nice areas. I have lots of friends there and am thinking about doing the same myself.

Steer clear of Statesville. It's a hick down and it's to far from CLT.

I live in the western part of Concord just about 3 miles east of Huntersville. Nice Area! There is a lot of new neighborhoods in the Huntersville / Concord Area. It's normally takes me about 20 mins to get to CLT and 50 mins to get to GSO. We just built our house about 9 months ago and it has appraised at $19,000.00 more than we paid for it. I don't want to live there forever, but for now it's great.
CLT is very clean uptown and great night life.

Good Luck and PM me if you need more information

The area of CLT you would be interested in depends alot on your W-2:) .

South - Southeast CLT is where the money goes....28270.

I moved here from the DC/Baltimore area 2 years ago and loved it. You can't beat the winters!

If you are thinking about house hunting....give me a shout. Or even if you are just looking for more info on the town.

Great town...I live in South Charlotte...Ballantyne Area...Easy drive to the airport about 15 minutes on 485. Union county has a lower tax rate for houses and the schools seem a little better....Good luck!

Parking....

Charlotte is a great city IMO. Seems to be something for everyone there or on the vicinity. Remember that if your airline isn't based there you will have to pay for parking. Not bad at $3.00 a day. However, if you're junior where you work with only 11 or 12 days off it adds up. Now, if I could only get a parking pass.................
