After reading the post regarding where our New Hires go and how long it takes to get to a certain base I decided to do some homework before posting a second response. The first set of numbers is the number of FOs per base and the class date of the most junior FO bidding at that base.
DAL 182 FOs, bottom guy hired 9 JUN 01.
MCO 208 FOs, bottom guy hired 19 JUL 02.
BWI 270 FOs, bottom guy hired 3 JAN 02.
MDW 303 FOs, bottom guy hired 28 FEB 02.
HOU 256 FOs, bottom guy hired 14 MAR 02.
PHX 439 FOs, bottom guy hired 25 APR 02.
OAK 327 FOs, bottom guy hired 6 JAN 03.
The following numbers are as accurate as their sources. The seniority list used was a few months old and I'm not sure how often the SWAPA website NH list gets updated. This second set of numbers is a summary by class date including class size back to the 3 JAN 02 class if you care to try to predict how many folks you need below you before you can make it into a certain base. Obviously the assumptions necessary to use this historical data to project the future basing may in itself be inaccurate, but it's better than nothing.

The spread of guys should definitely change when the April vacancy bid comes out on the 28th of Feb. The big changes are BWI adds 20 FOs and MCO adds 15 while I believe it's MDW that goes down by 15. The rest of the bases have very small changes. I'll post the revised seniority in early March if you guys think this is useful info.
