Maybe I am reading to much into this, but everyone I have asked doesnt seem to know. While doing night flights, I noticed that the higher obstacles seem to have white strobes, where the lower ones have red strobes. Is there any rule to what color or height? .......Or am I just thinking about this too much.

THANKS

See AIM 2-2-3 & the legend on your sectional chart.

Generally, steady red lights are used on obstructions 100 AGL or less; red beacons are used on obstructions 500 AGL or less; white strobes used above 500 AGL.

thanks

I was actually thinking above 500 agl it was white but couldnt find it....... didnt even think about the red steady. THanks, I will look that up!
