I was talking to someone who isn't necessarily intimate with GA, but they mentioned that they heard that there is a deadline for all aircraft to meet certain noise levels? He's an airline CA, so I'm wondering if it isn't just a rule for 121. Any insights on a blanket noise restriction across the US? Thanks.
