Liberal Talk Radio is a reality:

Article

Interesting that most of their shows will be hosted by comedians. I guess the liberals know in their hearts that their positions are a joke, so at least they are on the table in who they have representing them. I truly hope it is successful, though doubt it will be.

When it fails, you can count on it being all the fault of the vast right wing conspiracy, of which I am a loyal member.

...and Rush Limbaugh's show isn't? Well, I guess it isn't in the sense that he's not very funny.

Hear, hear, Satan!!

(Man, I never thought I'd be givin' props to el Diablo... oh well, got to earn brownie points with my future landlord anyways...)

I'll take a comic over a bloated nazi anyday

Ditto. These comics might just possibly have an idea about politics, too, which is more than one can say about Limbaugh. Oh well. I guess if you repeat something enough times it just becomes truth. It worked for Hitler...

I find it funny that the guy who quotes Patrick Henry - "give me liberty or give me death" - at the bottom of his message supports GWB. GWB and his cronies have done more to curtail personal liberties than had the previous 4 presidents. We haven't seen this since Nixon.

Republicans of old could hold that saying up proudly. Today's GOP is conservative in name only. I long for the old days.

Then you will love the comedic, bloated nazi AL Franken. Al is a self proclaimed Socialist, harbors storng feelings of nationalism, is fat, and used to be funny.

So, there you have it, a true, self-proclaimed, bloated Nazi (National-Socialist).

What is even more funny is what Wdubya has done since he has taken office.:D Some would even say quite sad.!! Like father like son, one term and back home.

Bart: The Shameless Instigator

At least liberals haven't lost their sense of humor.

Thankfully.

Bust a move.

Bart, there you go again stating facts and confusing the Bush/Capitalism haters. A self proclaimed socialist is exactly by definition what a Nazi was. So the question is....Are all liberals now Nazi's?

and there you go, confusing two arch enemies, both ideologically and physically

The political spectrum is not so much a straight line as it is circular. The farther you go left or right, you end up at totalitarianism. This is true only if you subscribe to the notion that Naziism is the result of going as far right as possible, and "communism" as the result of going as far left as possible.

My personal thinking is that the circle gets smaller i.e. a shorter distance to totalitarianism on the left side, making the spectrum more of an egg shape. The reason being that the the entire focus of the "left" side of the sprectrum is to make government the vehicle to better people's lives.

Anyone else notice that when Dubya spins around his head stays straight, like Linda Blair in the Exorcist. He really is Satan. (no offense to you, flightinfo.com user Satan). :D

Here's my question: Why do you guys have such incredibly strong loyalty to GWB? What has this one man done for you? This country is bigger than the man running it. I get the impression that, if GWB keeled over and died of a heart attack, some of you would crawl in a hole and start babbling incoherently about the end of the world. Why will some of you die hard conservatives not admit that some of his policies are just plain wrong? The Patriot Act, for example.

Please don't call me a liberal John Kerry supporting tree hugger. He's an idiot, too. And Bill Clinton, and......

IMHO, not that it matters, we would be a helluva lot better off if we would ditch the labels (conservative and liberal) and start holding the politicians accountable for their actions, instead of blindly following them because they hide under the Elephant or Jackass symbol.

We should go parlimentarian, that way we don't have some figurehead, like (Insert any recent president here) and we have a real man or woman who can actually talk, think, legislate, etc......

I dont think any president in recent history could stand up to what Tony Blair does in England.(Not saying that he's so great, but at least the guy can answer direct questions from representives)

Robin Hood Rides Again

It's the "Robin Hood" theory but it taxes the rich and gives to the poor & needy. In my "hood" it is termed "buying votes" Just like PFT, you did not earn it.

I'm the last three, myself. :D

Bart ... True Believers man ... True Believers.

And for the record ... I can't stand Al any more than I can tolerate Rush. Both are disgusting fat True Believers. For my money, the James Carville is the only lib who has a clue and an argument to back it up, and his wife is the only Repub. :)

I can not speak for everyone, but as for myself, I am loyal to Bush because I believe that he is better suited than anyone else that the other party is capable of rounding up. Do I think that Bush has handled everything correctly? Of course not. Do I think that he is doing an overall better job than Gore or Kerry could? Yes I do. Others think different and that is what makes this country great...the option to have your own choice without the government heads telling the population what to think, what health care one can have, how many SUV's one can have, what religion one wants or not wants to be......

Bush is not perfect, but he is definitely the lesser evil.

The Patriot Act isn't nearly as bad as most people would have you believe. After all, it had bipartisan support and there hasn't been a single instance of reported abuse. In fact, some of the more controversial provisions, such as the library investigations, havn't been used at all. Here is a good link for an analysis of the Patriot Act.

My biggest problems with Bush are when he tries to extend the olive branch to the Democrats. Invariably, they bite the hand that tries to feed them. I disagree with the huge new entitlement that the prescription drug program will become. I also think that we need to close our borders to illegal aliens, which he hasn't done.

The most important issue is national security and the only thing that Kerry has going for him on that is that he served in Vietnam thirty years ago. Since he got back, he really hasn't done anything to enhance national security.

Likewise, the Democrats are way out of the mainstream when it comes to the culture war. There is a reason that Dems only win national elections when they clothe themselves as moderates.

GWB and his cronies have done more to curtail personal liberties than had the previous 4 presidents.

The fact is that political correctness has done more to curtail civil liberties than anything in recent memory. Just read the book "When I was a Kid, This was a Free Country".

I have yet to hear of anyone denied their rights under the constitution, except Jose Padilla, since Bush took office. Lets see facts gentlemen, back up your so-called "claims".

This is the whole problem. You are not required to vote for a democrat OR republican. There are other choices but I just get a laugh out of all you people who shoe-horn yourself into one party or another. Both of these parties are a disgrace. Very soon there will be more total votes for alternate parties than either the donkey or elephant. Hopefully when this finally happens people will see these card carrying democrates or republicans for the fools that they are.
