Is there some sort of industry standard for the format of recommendation letters? Does anyone include letters from non-flying stuff with thier resumes?

i wouldn't include with a resume (because no one will read them), but i would bring them to an interview :)

If it is from someone, especially for a flying job from one of their Captains, I would send a copy of it with my resume. An in-house recommendation carries a great deal of weight. I have seen guys get interviews even when they do not meet all the requirements on the basis of an in-house recommendation.
