Are you a Basic Operator or Single Pilot or Single Pilot-in-Command? They way it was explained to me was that to get approvals outside the CONUS, you had to be at least a Basic. When we upgraded from Single PIC to Basic in addition to the tons of paperwork that it generated, we just mentioned in conversation with the POI that we would be looking for Eastern Caribbean approval. Technically you are also supposed to seek economic approval from the countries you will be going to (I don't believe enforced unless you do inter-country (cabatoge?) charter legs - I could be wrong). Any expert advice?
