Yeah...requires that you be a little more intelligent than a Mesa employee to interpret

You know that was poor taste....There are a lot of intelligent good hard working people that work for Mesa, the probelm is that a lot of them didn't know what they were really getting into when hired on...And when it comes down to it every regional is crap in one way or another..And yes Mesa leads the way in crap contracts but hopefully we can change some of that really soon when the contract expires here shortly....

There's no excuse for being shortsighted and not researching a potential employer. I stand by my statement

You guys as pilots are selling yourselves WAY TOO short. What the hell is with the majority of the Regional pilots being big fat pu$$ies??? You act as if you have no control of your career! Hmmmm....$19,000 as a JET FO is better than not having a flying job. BULL$HIT I SAY! If you guys don't like the pay...strike the b!tch! You'd get the respect of the industry, instead of getting spit on by the industry every time JO tosses a penny or two your way and laughs in your face.

Oh the great one. I forgot you were hired right from flight instructing to the right seat of a wide body cause you researched the company? I bet you went to the first on that called you? Or were selective? Some were on the streets after 9/11...Were you? Just how selective could one be after 9/11?

Now let me ask you a question since I am stupid for NOT researching a company......... I mean after all how could I since I went to Mesa.

If I would have done my research should I have went to Eagle since they make more in the right saet but upgrades are almost a decade long?

Go to Mesa were I have made money in the left seat in the Beech 1900 w/ over 2500 T-PIC and and 2800TT in the Beech in the last 3 1/2 years? I used to fly CV-240's.

Oh yea my seniority can hold jet Captain now, and now I wait for the next standing bid, be based at home here in DC.

I guess I am so stupid....I am not saying that things can't be better over here at Mesa and while I am here I try to make it better and I try to make the industry better by educating the new hires and only working the contract. I came from freight and I have seen way worse have you? If you did I don't believe that you would sound so ignorant.

So after all your reasearch was I dumb or should I apply to Eagle or another regional now?

Do you hear that? It's me playing the worlds smallest violin for you! For some reason, you implying that I am ignorant on the subject just really doesn't have the effect I think you intended. You don't have anything to defend at Mesa. Kind of sucks, doesn't it? I'll get to that point in another post...

Go to Mesa if you can get an RJ. Finish IOE, and then go to Chautauqua and get a $2.5K signing bonus. They are paying it to all RJ qualified pilots.

That's right, Chicken. 4 Saabs...13 Jetstreams...Regions really was moving and shaking the Regional Airline world. There is a new book out, I think it's a must read for you, it's called: Your A$$ and a Hole in the Ground

Read it over the weekend and get back to us Monday AM with a report.
