I am about to take a job in the bay area flying a legacy 600. It does some international work and am wondering if anyone knows what type of pay I should take as an SIC.

I was thinking of around 70,000

If any one has any info on pay scales it would be great!!

thanks

A legacy co-pilot with your time in the BAY area should not work for anything less that 85 to 90. Check the price of homes around there and the cost of living. You might already live there, but that is my opinion on the salary.

you know the captain is making 120 to 135. Don't you feel you should make more than half his salary?

The problem with the Legacy is anyone can fly one. While it is an international aircraft there are so many commuter pukes flying them that they will drag down the salary. Guys will creaming all over themselves to make $85K a year.

I cannot think of many guys that would fly a Falcon or Gulfstream in the bay area for less than $100K ... even as an SIC.

Good luck.
