Hello

Need some suggestions and advices or an ideas here.

My situations are,
A wife and 2 young sons( 4.5yrs and a 5 months )
Due to upgrade to B777 in the desert.
Wife have said she would return to US when the little one turns 5 and I personally would like to return home in the future.

My original plan was to get as much PIC times(min 1300) as possible so that I can apply to SWA. I know things can change and the job may not be available after 3 years. Now, I think for me would be better to go home now and to have a good career with Netjets, and the stability/ QOL for the family.

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Its obviously a personal choice, whats best for you and your family But
If you are thinking about it, get the app in If you haven't already done so. The process can take a few months. You can decide when they make the job offer to you.

I have heard a lot of good things about Dubai. Has that changed? Also, Is Emirates becoming a bad place to work?

Just curious, I have a friend who is interviewing there.

Cya

Ps you can pm me if you like.

Depends on whether or not you think the 7 on, 7 off schedule of NJ is better for your family, or the more traditional airline schedule that SWA offers. I've heard this one argued both ways, so maybe it's a wash.

Dubai is by far the best place in the middle east from my experience. I've been to almost every country over there and it is the only place I would visit in that part of the world. But it's still an islamic country and all the stuff that goes along with that. I personally wouldn't expose my family to that culture for anything longer than a vacation. Nothing beats the good ole' US of A.

Just curious, is the Irish village still open?

Thanks.

What is the "Irish Village"?

Cya

It was a bar, yes bar, district on Dubai. It is close to the flight academy. It was alot of fun. Good bars, not just Irish. Just be careful about being drunk in public. The locals are mildly tollerant of infidels, even less of drunk infidels. You don't want to get in trouble with the law and end up in jail.

If I were single I might consider a job their, but not if I were married.
