American, Learjet SIC with current 8410 for 25, 35, 36 and Citation S/II looking. Bi-Lingual in Spanish. US military vet. Excellent skills. Single, sober, non-smoker. PM me if you have any leads. Mucho appreciated.

Nice post

Thank you for your input, Drew. Your compassion and wisdom is demonstrative of the content in your post.

I am working; however at this time as a contract pilot in Citation. I am looking, as no doubt your are too, for something more fullfilling and perminent.

I have both Part 91 and 135 time in Learjet 24, 25, 31, 35, 36 and Citation S/II. I hold current 8410 for Lear 25, 35, 36 and Citation S/II, which attests to the fact that I have been working on jets. I have also hauled freight in Aztec and Beech18s and pax in Navajo/Ce414, so I can walk the walk, not just talk the talk.

I am "on the road" to Arizona and California from 9/23-30 (I live in Florida) for invitations to interview and check out other flight departments while there. I think that classifies for "getting off my XXX."

As far as "buying another type," everyone knows that PFT is no guarrantee for a job and discouraged by most captains I have flown with. Besides, unless you have a minimum of 2500 hours, a type does not do someone any good with 1700 hours other than extract another $14k from your bank account.

The purpose of this website is to help one another, not to belittle them. The smart captain is nice to the SIC. One day, the SIC may be the one who gets you a future job. I recently had a captain that, through my promotion, gained employment in Hawaii in a Lear 36. It's all about attitude, personality and flying ability.

I see by your profile that you are a flight instructor at the College of Aviation at Western Michigan University. Nice gig!!

Have a nice winter, Drew.
