Anyone hear of an operation called Intercontinental Express? Seem to have several Lear 20 series based there.

If its anything to do with Chipola or Doug Gilliland stay far far away!!

They are all owned by a man named Chuck Roberts. He owns C.W. Roberts construction, which is a major asphalt/concrete company in the panhandle, headquarters in TLH. All of the 20 series (24, and 2 25's) have been sold and he is puting one of the 35's on Destin Air Charters certificate. His other 35 is in a 12 year still in DAB. The planes used to be all up in Athens GA until he got screwed over by the former 135 operator up there and he ended up with the note for all 5 lears. He was paying 73k and change a month for the planes, and they were all sitting, so he got rid of the 20's and is trying to offset cost I suppose now. I flew a few trips for him, he and his family are very very nice people, it's just a shame he's been screwed over so much, and it looks like that's not the end of it for him... but that's aviation these days.
