How soon before we start to see the new Lear 75 in Flexjet colors? How many are on order?

Having flown the Lear 25, 35, 45 and CL300, I am a fan of Bombardier products and I imagine the Lear 75 will be a winner and appreciated by the passengers. Also looking forward to seeing the 85 when it eventually finishes testing.

When KR gets done merging the companies together the Flex name will fade away. Just like Travel Air.

Umm, DAC (along with a few key Flexjet owners) invested in Flexjet which is known as an industry leader and has been very profitable. Do you really think that they would let Flexjet fade away? Why do you suppose they would do that?

I think Chief is wrong. After all management has said publically that they want to keep both the FO and Flex "store fronts". However this doesn't mean the Flex you know and love will look or feel anything like it does today in the future.

When. TA and FO merged it took them about a year to fire or otherwise run off most of the former TA managers. They also made short work of abandoning most of the policies and procedures TA had in place. Oh, and they busted the union drive the TA pilots had been running prior to the merge, infamously firing five union organizers. They were subsequently seued by the IBT and were forced to settle, reportedly paying each of the pilots over a million dollars.

What's the old saying about those who fail to learn from history?

Travel Air was an industry leader as well. Raytheon invested millions into the program and handed it over to KR. The name and most of the TA mgt were forced out.

Operated by the OneSky pilot group but sold under the Flexjet banner.

Right. There was never any intention of operating FO and TA as separate entities though was there? No two distinct "storefronts." Therein lies the difference. Obviously Kenn wants to combine all aspects of the operation but I don't think separate pilot groups will kill the deal.
