Lear 60 vs Citation X

One gets you to a maintenance base faster than the other.
 
Been there done that!

Type rated in both. Over 1000 hours in both.

Leer 60, fun to fly.
GOOD-Great performance off the runway . Climbed straight up to FL410.
.81 MMO Normally cruised at .79 Small oven on board to heat up food. I liked the way the emergency exit opened up to allow a cross-flow of air though the cabin on the ground.
BAD-The lav on this aircraft is a really poor design. Search my previous posts for a discussion on the plug and play design. No APU on the '60's I operated.

Citation X Good-The lav is no problem. Stand-up cabin, great APU. The air conditioning and heating is pretty good. Cruise at FL430 and FL450 above the weather. MMO .92 Normally cruised .88 -.92
Bad-Smaller cockpit than the LEER 60 No oven.

FMS on both aircraft were good. The Citation X did the performance calculations.

But let's talk about a real performer.....the BE-400!
