I got the word that I am going into Lear 55 class soon. I am current in the 35 and just wondering if anybody has any tips about the 55.

Thanks.

I have to second what Falcon Capt said!

Levaing Sant Maarten on a hot day, that mountain was coming up on me very quickly, and the airspeed indicator acted like it was full of glue. :D (oink, oink)

It's fun (and easy) to fly, lands great, and customers love it compared to the 35. Loading baggage through the back door is a two man operation, and also an exercise in spatial relations as you learn to maximize the poorly designed L-shaped bag area. Thankfully, there is another small compartment near the left engine. We put the crew bags there.

No sweat. Have fun.
