LCC upgrade time?

At ATA the most junior pilot awarded a captain slot in a recent bid was hired March 1999. So I guess you could say 4-5 years to upgrade. When I was hired (May '99) upgrades were being awarded in as little as 18 months.

As for most senior FO, ATA has some very senior FOs (Over 12 years). Many are former Flight Engineers who have recently transitioned to the right seat and won't have enough pilot time to bid captain for a while. A handful are FO's who have chosen not to upgrade for whatever reason.
 
Actually, I had to leave Engineering because of Calculus 407...

That was 102 four times.
