Hello........

Does any reader know the "continuing saga" at National????

I saw on Yahoo airline news, that National has been refinanced and will (may)?? be out of bankruptcy in mid- October.

Also flight crews took a 15% pay cut to remain in business.

How are passenger loads, new aircraft (737's), west coast expansion, current mood in the pilot group, other employees attitudes, etc.

Come on people, inquireing minds want to know.

Best wishes in this twisted airline economy.

They were booked solid today!!!

A few days ago they offered 1 dollar fares, for flights taken on 9/11, and they were sold out within 7 hours. Maybe things are looking up, if they keep filling seats!

Lets just hope that the attendants and ticket counter people had there smiley faces on, and were treating everyone really really nice. By doing this they can win over a lot of customers from america west, and southwest. Lets also hope that all of there airplanes were on time and not 6 hours late, which is the norm there.
