So this is where they get their pilots. I haven't heard of anyone going there. Anyone know how many pilots they have? And what their average pay really is, at G.J.? I had to change blowjets to G.J. so it wouldn't be bleeped out.

langaAir has affiliated with G.J. Airlines as a preferred provider of pilot candidates. langaAir career pilot graduates who have completed the professional pilot development program who possess 1000 hours of total flight experience and 100 hours of multi engine time will be considered with priority over other applicants for available pilot positions.
Several advanced courses are being developed within langaAir's curriculum that will tremendously enhance the G.J.'s initial training. These courses are being designed specifically around G.J.'s operation and aircraft but will be valuable for graduates who elect to go into other areas of the industry.
ABOUT G.J. AIRLINES
Trans States Holdings established G.J. Airlines in late 2004 as a regional carrier. G.J. Airlines operates as United Express from Chicago O'Hare, Denver and Washington Dulles. Service began October 4, 2005.
The initial fleet consists of three 66-seat Bombardier CRJ700 regional jets. Current plans will expand the fleet to five aircraft within the first six months with an additional seven aircraft joining the fleet by January 2006. G.J.'s fleet of CRJ700's are configured with six First Class seats at 37-inch pitch, 28 Economy Plus seats at 34-inch pitch and 32 Economy seats at 31-inch pitch.
Since it's inception, G.J.'s commitment has been simple: - to strive to do its best for the customer each day and to remain flexible and responsive to the needs and challenges of our airline partners and the industry. It is the "People" who make up G.J. Airlines that make the difference.
The key objectives and Mission of G.J. Airlines are:
To provide safe, reliable, on-time air transportation while delivering to our customers the highest standards in professionalism and customer service.
To foster an environment for all G.J. Airlines team members which promotes mutual respect, productivity, communication and job satisfaction.
All of us at G.J. Airlines look forward to having an opportunity to welcome you on board a G.J. flight in the near future, your connection to the world.

I seriously just laughed out loud when I read "The key objectives and Mission" part! HA! What a joke!!!!!!!!!

Why would someone have to go to Langa? They will hire anyone who walks thru the door. I was in recurrent for Trans States and in the break room ran into a group of guys interviewing at G.J. One guy said he was there with a DUI and an FAA violation and they were the only one's that said that it wouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't put any of my family on one of their airplanes.

More of your bs lies.....I was in ground school with him and he was sent home the second day....most of our class were guys with previous airline experience and type ratings in the crj and lear and even md 80.....the tsa class was a bunch of 500 hour twenty one year old flight instructors.......the industry is seeing you for the liars you are and giving you zero support...keep up the good work.

And they were 500 hour 21 year old flight instructors that have more dignity and self respect than you seem to have. I hope the personal attacks make you feel better about this situation.

I have never personally attacked anyone...in fact I have said that some 500 hour pilots are better than some of us with over 5000 hours because of the specialized training they have had...we had two 500 hour pilots make it through training and two guys with ten times their experience didnt....you are the one personally attacking by saying we hire dui and pilots with violations....that guy you were talking about lied on his app and was gone immediately after finding out.......you have a problem with management than deal with them....we are not your problem no matter how badly you want to believe it......i also have some tsa pilots as friends and most of them could care less about gj.......

I never said anything about anyone having a DUI, please re-read the post and remember who said what.

As for personal attacks, you quoted me on another thread were I said this:

Of course TSH set out to keep the company seperate!!! It's simple and the CP was overheard saying that there is no way this pilot group will vote in favor of this contract. They gave us a crappy contract and then were worried that we would vote it in. They know the MEC very well, and sent a crappy contract for the express reason of it fail.

I thought the same thing when you said "get the flying then worry about pay later", but now I see that if we would have done that, we would have been every regional airlines enemy and instigating the "race to the bottom".

And then you went on to personally attack me for saying that with this:

if you are unhappy than do something about it....i quit the last miserable job that i had before I had a job to go to but that is just me.....if i dont like something, than i move on....it is a lot easier than being a miserable person......I suggest you do the same. Go bag some groceries that is probably where you belong instead of spreading your misery all over this website......by the way....you wont hurt my career one bit because miserable people dont have any power.
And before that, you justified going to g0jet with this:

you name another airline that I could go to and make 56 dollars an hour after being employed by three months...

Now, you can work for whatever place you want. TSH is playing you and they will return the favor one day and bend you guys over as well. The only reason you are there and they didn't let us have the flying in the first place is to save about 14 bucks per hour worth of pay.

Take care and enjoy sitting in O'hare..............

Zero support huh.....Try to get a jumpseat from me. And I work at Mesaba. And I still carry a Freedom list.

alter-ego division of tsa to whipsaw tsa pilots and every pilot group in the industry. not many things in life are as simple as the reason for creating gjet.

Sounds like a bunch of retreads and losers. My old freight company had some like that. Guys who had decent jobs, but either p!ssed it away or couldn't pick themselves off the floor when bad times hit. Well enjoy the fat paycheck in that 70 seater.

What fat paycheck?

Not surprising that a Cub Fan would not understand sarcasm.

I actually did catch it, once again proving how hard it is to convey tone over the internet.

Waterski Heavy,

Lets get one thing straight right now...Respect is something that is EARNED...NOT GIVEN. No offense, but in my humble opinion, none of your pilot group has earned my respect, or many other pilots respect for that matter. You simply and honestly do not get it. We all know why GJ was started, to circumvent AA's scope clause, however, it presented a two fold solution to another problem...labor costs. Management told you that you would be much better off without our union, and while I am no fan of unions in general, I can't wait to see how your contract turns out, if one is ever really signed. You see, your group has no legal recourse for anything becuase you all signed on under work rules, not a contract; so there is no expiration. The company is under NO OBLIGATION to sign anything. You're per hour rate is on average the same as our 50 seat rate, maybe $1.00/hr more at most, but the work rules that we have more than make up for that(ie Block or Better). The company got cheaper variable costs because they did not want to honor the payrate set fourth in the CBA of the average of all the non wholly owned carriers (ASA, CHQ, Mesa, Horizon, Skywest, etc.) Face it...your company is no better than those industries that outsource their jobs to other countries for cheaper labor. Management could have went with one list...the correct way, and our pilot group was willing to negotiate, but they did not really want to negotiate, or clarify some of the ambiguous and potential loopholeful language. Instead, they wanted to save money...plain and simple, and your group was more than willing to take that flying. You'll argue that if the flying didn't go to GJ, then it would have gone to some other company...maybe so. I submit that it was because of the hard work of the TSA employees that enabled management the opportunity to grow into the 70 seat market. And when management wanted cheaper labor costs...your pilots were more than willing to sign on. So please, do not expect any TSA pilot to like you, or respect you...as your company and lack of work rules forces downward pressure not only on us(TSA), but on other carriers as well. You think that your company exists only for 70 seaters...then why did GJ place a bid for the COEX flying, in direct competition with TSA. There was no need for that, other than potential cheap labor costs. Maybe you didn't know that last tidbit of information, but that's how the whipsaw starts. Basically...don't expect anything from us, because we sure as hell don't expect anything from you.

PS...Please change your name, because you definately bring a bad name to those that are actual waterskiiers

Hey Waterski Heavy,
Where have I lied there buddy? The guy told me at his interview about his situation. Since he made it to ground school and I saw him on his interview day, some one ought to buy you a calender before you start calling me a liar.
