VERY NICE!!! I had a chance to JS on Lakes a few months ago. I can not believe the pay rates and work rules over there. Good luck and stay strong!

Very, very nice.
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Cheyenne!
100% Strike Vote
100% TA Rejection
Release the dogs!

I can't even remember the last time I saw a 100% vote on anything related to this job. More power to you guys - you deserve far more than you are getting. Stay strong.

Nice to know that Dougy hasn't change since I was there. Good luck guys. I know what you're going thru, keep strong and keep the faith. Is Dick Fontaine still there? Dick him before he dicks you. Again, good luck.

Everyone keeps saying that Lakes has terrible schedules. Can someone include a 3 day trip or a good example. I do see a lot of your 1900s when I fly through DEN every once and awhile....

Bye Bye--General Lee

Looks like you boys got yourself a bit of a party!

Like someone else said, it does not speak clearer than 100%!

Well, General Lee, it kinda depends on what you'd call "terrible." The one thing that ain't bad is that every airplane in the system is chocked by 10:30pm, and nothing moves before 5:30am. No protracted back side of the clock flying. Our continuous duty overnights, "highspeeds" can suck, however, sometimes with 5 hours at the hotel. Very few 3 day trips, mostly 4 and 5 day odysseys. Here's some January Beech flying, a busy and a boring pairing, both ends of the spectrum:

Congratulations to all my Laker brothers and sisters! Way to go.

To answer the General Lee's question above (in part -- I doubt things have changed much since I was there a year ago, just more junior-manning):

It isn't so much that a typical flying day is so bad -- actually there are a couple features of the schedules at Lakes that I liked better than we have here at SKYW. For example, at Lakes you would often be done at 0730 on the last day of your trip. And there were more lines with commutable start times. Here, not so much. What sucked is the rampant junior-manning and irregular schedules. For example, one month you might be 5 on, 1 off, 4 on, 2 off, 4 on, 3 off, etc. Hope this helps.

Lakes definitely needs a trip rig (so does SkyWest)! Look at that 4-day trip with 94+ hrs TAFB and 16.25 credit. And I thought our lines were bad. That's a crime against flight crews.

Wow - congratulations to my former co-workers! I hope that the vote sends a clear message not only to Voss and co. in CYS but also to the mediators. I went my whole 4 years at Lakes with an open, ammenable contract and never once got to vote on an offer. Doug and co. have the mediators on their side.

Let's see what happens next. My thoughts and prayers are with all y'all Lakers!

Cardinal,

Thanks for the example. Yeah, that looks like it could be rough, especially if the weather goes down in DEN. Good luck to you guys.

Bye Bye--General Lee
