Is RME where griffis is? I thought that as of now, civillian planes were not allowed at RME.

I was there a long time ago, well at least it seems like it
97-01, at the start of the big expansion

Dunno on RME's status for gen.av. aircraft, last i knew they were technically allowed in there, but with no facilities, there was no point in anyone going there, not to mention the ramp was in really bad shape....

they tried to move the airport there in the mid/late 90's and it didn't fly cause most people realized it was a dumb idea except for that one legislator who keeps pushin it, can't remember the douche's name....

one giant runway isn't an appropriate replacement for 2 nice ones....
granted it'd be closer for bob at lai, and luigi of course, but it'll suck for robby to move his whole mtc operation over there....

i never had any problem with the fbo guys when i was there, maybe cause i was a local and not a transplant, but i always got along with them.
